Is it safe to get married during Corona?
Couples are searching for the perfect marriage garden, pretty dresses, and performing small functions in order to tie the knot. But is it really safe? Let’s find out.
While most of the weddings that were to be held in the next couple of months have been postponed to the later part of the year. 55% of couples who were to get married in the second quarter of the year are still in hope of things getting better in the near future and are making little or no change to their plans while the rest 45% have postponed or canceled their wedding for now.
This trend varies widely across cities. About 38% of the couples in Delhi are hoping to go ahead with their wedding plans to be held between April and June; 45% couples in Mumbai and 51% in Bangalore are planning to go ahead anyway. Couples from Hyderabad are quite positive that the circumstances will get better and 72% believe they can continue with the celebrations. Additionally, 66% of couples in tier 2 cities are expected to host their weddings.
